SETH SILVER, MD, RECOGNIZED AS "TOP DOC" FOR ORTHOPEDICS IN SOUTH JERSEY
VINELAND, NJ (September 27, 2007) Seth Silver, M.D. of the South Jersey Center for Orthopedics and Sports Medicine (South Jersey Center) was cited among the Top Doctors in Southern New Jersey for orthopedic surgery in the September 2007 edition of SJ Magazine. Doctors from all over southern New Jersey nominated fellow physicians they would recommend to a family member. Over 1,000 responses were tallied to determine the Top Doctors in 70 specialties.
"I am honored to be acknowledged as a doctor of choice among my peers," said Dr. Silver. "As a physician, my goal is to provide every patient exceptional treatment and care and return them to mobility as quickly as possible."
Dr. Silver is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with over 20 years experience in orthopedics and is a Fellow of the Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. He is a graduate of Georgetown University School of Medicine and continued his training in the United States Medical Corps. Dr. Silver's residency in orthopedics was completed at Brooke Army Medical Center in Fort Sam Houston, Texas. After returning from the Gulf War, he trained orthopedic residents and managed a sports medicine clinic, amputation clinic and supervised podiatrists while serving as an officer in the United States Army. He remains a member of the Society of Military Orthopedic Surgeons. Dr. Silver also sits on the Board of the New Jersey Orthopedic Society as well as the Committee on Aspects of Sports Medicine of the New Jersey State Medical Society. He is the school and team physician for Millville High School and Sacred Heart High School.
